PM Modi holds bilateral meetings with world leaders in Singapore

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s first bilateral meeting of the day was with Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong during which views were exchanged on issues of bilateral importance.

Issues like cooperation in financial technology, enhanced connectivity and regional economic integration, came up for discussion during the meeting. Both leaders discussed the recent review of the Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement between India and Singapore.

The Prime Minister also met Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison. The two leaders discussed ways to deepen ties in trade & investment, defence & security and other areas of bilateral cooperation.

Furthering India’s Act East policy, Prime Minister Modi also held deliberations with Prime Minister of Thailand Prayut Chan-o-cha.
