Chief of Indian Coast Guard Krishnaswamy Natarajan arrives in Dhaka

Chief of Indian Coast Guard Director General Krishnaswamy Natarajan arrived in Dhaka on Sunday on a four day visit from 15-18 Sept to Bangladesh; He is accompanied by two delegation members.

According to the Press Release issued by the Indian High Commission in Dhaka on Monday, during the visit, DG Coast Guard will be calling on the Home Minister, Chief of NavalStaff, Director General of Bangladesh Coast Guard among others.

It said that the visit of the Chief of Indian Coast Guard to Bangladesh will strengthen defence cooperation particularly in the field of maritime domain.

It will also strengthen the close and fraternal ties existing between the Coast Guards of the two countries.
