Chinese President Xi Jinping to visit Nepal on 12-13 October

Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit Nepal on 12-13 October. After concluding his informal summit with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Chennai Jinping will fly to Kathmandu on Saturday.

It will be the first visit by a Chinese President to Nepal in 23 years.According to a press release issued by Nepal‚ÄĚs Ministry of Foreign Affairs Jinping is paying state visit to Nepal at the friendly invitation of President Bidya Devi Bhandari.

During his two day visit Jinping will meet Nepalese President and attend a Banquet hosted by her.President Jinping will also hold delegation level official talks with Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli.

Following the talks, both leaders will witness the signing of bilateral agreements and memoranda of understanding.Senior leaders of Nepal will call on Chinese President during his sojourn in Kathmandu.
